As a nonprofit entity for more than ten years, Fairy Tale Review has pursued its mission of publishing the best in contemporary fairy tales from an international pool of writers, poets, and translators. Support from individual readers will help maintain that mission and expand it into new territories.

Since its first issue, work from Fairy Tale Review has been selected for inclusion in The O. Henry Prize Stories Anthology, Best New American Voices, Best American Fantasy, and listed as “Notable” in Best American Short Stories, among other honors. In addition, the journal has been made available on JStor alongside peer reviewed journals.

Financial support will allow us to continue expanding the journal’s outreach, and will directly aid in supporting our mission to raise public awareness of fairy tales as a diverse and vibrant form of contemporary literature.
